Kingfisher is a small missional community of Christians who share a vision to bring ‘friendship, hope and healing’ to Paxcroft Mead and Castle Mead. This group has a firm commitment to this part of Trowbridge, and it meets weekly to pray for the local area. Anyone is welcome to join us to pray.
In particular, the group has developed strong and fruitful relationships with the two primary schools (which are part of the Equa Mead Trust). Our involvement includes interactive gospel presentations at Christmas and Easter, some assemblies and one-to-one mentoring.
Kingfisher also hold events in the local pub, including Carol Singing and an Easter Egg hunt.
